“I have been lucky enough to work with Tom since 2014. Over the last four and a half years Tom has been involved in multiple aspects of my training including managing my strength and conditioning program, injury management and prevention, biomechanical and technical development as well as mentoring.
Tom is a versatile and experienced coach who was able to take me from an athlete struggling to achieve at a National level to winning my first National title, being named on two Australian representative teams (World University Games and IAAF World Athletics Championships) as well as being named on the team and winning a bronze medal at the IAAF World Relays Championships (Women’s 4x800m).
Tom has worked with me to develop my functional strength as a track athlete, to manage and prevent injury as well as helping me with goal setting, nutrition, performance and recovery techniques. Tom’s own experience as an elite athlete is an amazing resource that he is able to draw upon and use to educate, understand and motivate the athletes that he works with. Tom’s ability to connect with athletes and understand the requirements and demands that elite level sport places on individuals both physically and mentally is an extremely valuable asset to any individual athlete or team.”
