The Team

Paul Taylor - Director

The founder of The Human Performance Institute, Paul is an accredited and practicing Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist. Recently appointed as Adjunct Professor of Functional Neuroscience at The University of San Francisco, Paul is an International Fitness Industry Presenter, Author and Radio Presenter.

Paul now specialises in Executive Performance and has combined his years of University training with his interests in Neuroscience, Quantum Physics and Positive Psychology to develop an integrated approach to health and well-being that he calls Scientific Holism – evidence based holistic health that integrates both the physical and mental components of the self.

He has successfully turned these diverse interests into an engaging and empowering educational framework, such as that developed for National Australia Bank’s Sustainable Leadership Program for their Executive Talent.

In addition to an extensive background in health, fitness and wellness, Paul has a proven track record in leadership, management and dealing in high-pressure situations through 8 years as a British Naval Officer. He uses his experiences from former roles as an Airborne Anti-submarine Warfare Officer and a Helicopter Search-And-Rescue Crew Member to bring much of the research to life with stimulating, real-life examples.
